Terms of Service
Last updated: 4 July 2026
What RegLog is
RegLog is a vehicle record-keeping tool that helps you track MOT dates, service history, fuel costs, and maintenance records. It is not an official DVLA or DVSA service. Data fetched from government APIs is provided for convenience only — always verify important legal deadlines (MOT, road tax) directly with the relevant authority.
Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering. You must be at least 18 years old to use RegLog.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Store false or fraudulent vehicle records
- Attempt to access another user's account or data
- Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the service
- Use RegLog for any unlawful purpose
Service availability
RegLog is provided on a best-efforts basis. We do not guarantee uptime or continuous availability, particularly for the free tier. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance or downtime.
Intellectual property
The RegLog application, design, and code are owned by the operator. Your data — vehicle records, service logs, and uploaded documents — belongs to you. You can export or delete it at any time.
Limitation of liability
RegLog is provided as-is without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any decisions made based on data shown in the app, missed MOT or tax deadlines, vehicle damage, or any consequential loss. Always verify legal deadlines with official sources.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email before any material changes take effect. Continued use of RegLog after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
